Book with Confidence Guarantee

We understand that the relative uncertainty we are feeling might have implications for your confidence to book and stay at Kaikoura TOP 10 Holiday Park over the next couple of months and, with that in mind, we have introduced a "Book with Confidence Guarantee".

What is the Book with Confidence Guarantee?
For bookings made from 3rd December 2021, the Book with Confidence Guarantee is applicable if you are unable to travel due to certain COVID-19 related developments.

These include you becoming sick with COVID-19 or someone immediately connected to you does and, as a close contact, you are forced into self-isolation or there is a Government mandate preventing you from travel in/from your local area/region or in the area to which you are intending to travel.

In these cases there will be no charges levied to make changes to your booking dates. We will provide a 12-month credit with no cancellation or amendment charges added. In exceptional circumstances, determined on a case by case basis, a full refund, less a processing fee, may be offered.

In the case of a request for a COVID-19 related amendment on personal grounds, guests may be requested to provide a medical certificate, or that of their determined close contact, to confirm the medical grounds on which the request is based.

Please be aware that where your request to amend/cancel a booking was made prior to 7th May 2020 and/or is not linked to COVID-19 related matters, normal T&C’s will apply.

If the booking was made via the TOP 10 group website (www.top10.co.nz), please contact TOP 10 on 0800 867 836 for any amendment requests.

If the booking was made via a third party, including online travel agents (i.e. booking.com, Expedia), traditional travel agents or other 3rd parties, then any request for a refund should be direct to that organisation in the first instance.

To ensure the safety of all guests staying at Kaikoura TOP 10 Holiday Park, we have introduced "Best Practice Guidelines" that must be adhered to while staying in the holiday park.

Kaikoura TOP 10 Holiday Parks COVID-19 Policy

Kaikoura TOP 10 Holiday Park has made the decision to introduce a no vaccination/no stay policy and are asking that all guests booked with us are fully vaccinated. All of our staff are fully vaccinated and we are requiring that all guests, visitors, staff, and contractors who enter our property are fully vaccinated. This policy will apply from Friday 24th December 2021 until further notice. The only exemptions are children who are under 12 and 3 months on date of arrival and those holding a bona fide medical exemption certificate which is confirmed in a My Vaccine Pass.

Our terms and conditions of stay have been amended as follows:

  • You agree all members of your booking (and your guests) including dependants over the age of 12 years and 3 months are fully vaccinated or hold a legitimate exemption and are happy to provide evidence of this with your My Vaccination Pass together with proof of identity if requested.
  • We reserve the right to request evidence of the above vaccination prerequisites on arrival and or anytime during your stay.
  • Following acceptance of the above terms and conditions refunds for any monies paid will not be available for anyone who arrives and cannot provide acceptable evidence or is not vaccinated and therefore not able to stay with us.
