Clean, spacious & well equipped
"We stayed for 1 night in a 2 bedroom unit. It was spacious with Modern decor, the duvet covers made the room looks luxurious (I was expecting the usual dated bedspread and curtains that holiday park usually has) has a heat pump that kept us warm & dry in winter. The kitchen was very well equipped, complete with an electric frying pan & a rice cooker. A good size fridge freezer instead of the mini one. There was even a dishwasher!! Fabulous because I hate having to do dishes while on holiday!!"

Very comfortable stay!
"We were a family group of 4 seniors & 2 couples with 2 kids each - in all 12 people from India. We booked 4 cottages here - 2 nos. 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cottage for each couple with 2 kids, and 2 nos. 1 bedroom-bathroom for each senior couple, for 1 night in May. Full advance payment was required to book this one.

I must stay it was a very comfortable accommodation, walk-able from Whale-Watch. Each cottage was a spacious, cozy haven with very comfy beds, clean bathroom (with heater!), dining area, sofa, TV etc. The kitchen was fully equipped with hob, kettle, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, crockery, cutlery etc. For our trip, we had ordered Indian grocery from an Auckland store & used the fully-functional kitchen to have ready-to-eat Indian meals (and saved huge bucks!).

They have an awesome hot tub which can be booked prior & used FREE for 30 minutes! The reception was very friendly & prompt too! We extended 1 of our cottages till 2 pm with some extra payment & enjoyed an additional family meal in our comfortable setting! Overall, highly recommended."

Great View of the Sea to the Mountains
"Great views of the snow-capped mountains of the Southern Alps, the accommodation was comfortable with the basic facilities. Great food in this small seaside town. Awesome fresh seafood. Be sure to take a short drive out to the point where if you are lucky there might be a little stall selling fresh Seafood Chowder - YUMMO. I was in heaven. continue to the end of the road where there is a Seal Colony, Take some photos but Respect them and don't try and get too close. I love this place and the good thing is its only 2 hours from Christchurch on Highway."
